So going back to my childhood (lets pack a lunch for that trip) we had a TV sometimes. It had 2 channels, Prime and ABC, it was black and white, and I was the remote.

Today (That lunch was nice), we have a TV in our pocket, on the wall in almost every room. And when we aren’t watching it we are taking in meaningless information on social media.

Then we have music. Again it has changed. Black disks, then pretty shiny ones. Now it is streamed from our phones and directly from huge servers, pay a small monthly charge and we can listen to almost anything we want.

But, and it is a BIG BUT. Our phones have tinny sound, if we Bluetooth to a speaker, and then get a message or a call the music cuts out and everyone yells at us. Not great, and it is in one location.

So what is the answer..

Well a number of manufacturers have created Multi-room Audio Video Systems. Most of these are good, but one of the best would be HEOS by Denon, it has the backing of Denon and Marantz, and is even integrated into some of their AV Receivers.

Why is it so great?

Imagine, you have a Theatre system in your lounge.  A TV with a Sound bar in your family room. A stylish speaker in your bedroom.  Some in-ceiling speakers in your Alfresco. AND you can control the music on all of them from a tablet or your phone. You can play the same music on all, and at different volumes, or mix it up with a Movie in the theatre, the news in the family room and music out at the BBQ.

And it is all in the awesome sound quality you expect from Denon.

It almost sounds too easy, but it is.
