Which one is right for you?
This is a debate that is kind of like bringing up religion at the pub. But the truth is it really depends on what you do on your computer. The right tool for the job, as they say.
Apple has historically been the best at desktop publishing, and video and audio creation. But now a PC can do this just as well. PC’s were always best at running your accounting packages, and typing up an office document or sorting the accounts in a spreadsheet. But a Mac can do this as well.
So what makes one system right for you? Well I think it comes down to all the other things that you do, if for example you have family members who may play games, then a PC is a better choice. If you are technologically challenged then maybe a Mac. The reason I say this is Apple restricts you from downloading a bad APP and it is a little harder to get a virus on a Mac – not impossible!
So be careful when your neighbour or a friend tells you that you really should get a MAC or a PC’s as they may be a different type of user to you. Talk to an expert, someone who will ask you a lot of questions about how you will use your computer. And then make an informed decision on which is right for you.
Oh and another quick note – a Mac is more expensive because they only use quality parts. So if you are comparing apples with apples (pardon the pun), then only compare a quality built PC and the price will be similar. Cheap is always cheap for a reason…
The right tool for the job. Not the Tool telling you their biased opinion…
